What our clients say
What we do
Access control installation. Electric strikes and maglocks, readers, keypads, controllers and the software to manage who gets in where and when. Designed around how the building is actually used.
Fob and keypad entry systems. For offices, gyms, warehouses, medical suites and apartment buildings. Lost fobs cancelled in minutes, not a locksmith rekeying every door.
Access control repair. Doors not releasing, readers not reading, fobs stopped working after a power outage, controller faults, and systems left behind by an installer who no longer answers. We diagnose and repair, and take over orphaned systems.
Building takeovers and upgrades. Replacing legacy or unsupported systems with current platforms, migrating credentials, and tying access control in with intercom and CCTV so one system covers the building.
Why customers use us for access control
- Electrical and security under one roof. Door hardware, power supplies, cabling, fire trip integration and the controller all sit with one licensed team. No coordinating two trades.
- Licensed for the work. Access control is licensed security work in Victoria. Vic Police PSBL Z32-919-22S, plus REC 25761 for the electrical side.
- Strata and commercial experience. We deal directly with owners corporations, building managers and facility managers, report in writing and arrange access.
- Systems you can manage. Handover includes showing your office manager or building manager how to add and cancel credentials themselves.
- Local support after install. Carrum Downs based. When a door plays up, you get the people who installed it.
How it works
- Site visit. We walk the doors with you, confirm what each one needs to do (staff hours, visitor access, after-hours, fire egress) and check the existing cabling and door hardware.
- Fixed-price proposal. Hardware, cabling, controller, software and commissioning, itemised.
- Installation and commissioning. Doors fitted and tested, credentials issued, schedules set, egress and fire compliance checked.
- Handover and support. Manager training on adding and removing users. Ongoing support and repairs from the same team.
Platforms we install and support
Gallagher, Inner Range (Inception and Integriti), HID and Salto hardware, and standalone keypad and reader systems for single doors. We service and repair most existing systems and advise plainly when a legacy system should be replaced rather than patched.
Areas we service
Melbourne CBD and inner south, Bayside including Brighton, Sandringham, Hampton, Cheltenham, Mentone, Mordialloc, Aspendale, Chelsea, Frankston and Carrum Downs, and the southeastern suburbs including Moorabbin, Braeside, Dandenong and Dingley.
Common questions
How much does access control cost?
A single-door keypad or fob system is a modest job. Multi-door systems with a controller and software are quoted fixed price after a site visit. Ask for the site visit; it is free.
Can you take over a system installed by someone else?
Yes. We regularly pick up systems where the original installer has gone. If the platform is supported we service it; if not, we quote a migration.
Will it work with our intercom or CCTV?
Usually. Current platforms integrate with video intercom and CCTV so a visitor can be seen, spoken to and let in from one screen. We advise what is possible with what you have.
What happens in a power outage or fire alarm?
Doors are configured to fail safe or fail secure according to the building’s fire and egress requirements. We check this on every install.
