What our clients say

What we do

Testing and tagging to the standard. Single and three-phase equipment: computers and office equipment, kitchen appliances, power tools and trade gear, extension leads and power boards, industrial and warehouse machinery, portable RCDs and safety switches.

Reporting. Pass or fail tags with test and retest dates, a full PDF or hard-copy register of every item and result, a summary of failed items and what to do with them, and a Certificate of Electrical Safety.

Scheduled compliance. We track due dates, send reminders and attend on the pre-arranged date, so compliance is continuous rather than a scramble before an audit.

Advice on failures. Anything that cannot be used safely is explained, with replacement advice where useful.

Who uses us

  • Offices and corporate buildings with rotating equipment and desk setups.
  • Schools and childcare centres with a duty of care to students and staff.
  • Gyms, retail and hospitality where equipment gets heavy daily use.
  • Warehouses, manufacturing and construction sites with power tools, machinery and leads on the move.
  • Property and facility managers who want one licensed contractor across a portfolio.

How it works

  1. Scope. Tell us the site, the approximate number of items and whether you want a one-off or a schedule.
  2. Test. Every item visually inspected and electrically tested with calibrated equipment, tagged with the result and retest date.
  3. Report and remind. Register and certificate issued, failed items flagged, and the next due date tracked for you.

Why a schedule beats a one-off

With a schedule in place, due dates are tracked for you, reminders arrive ahead of time, we attend on the agreed date without chasing, and compliance never lapses between visits. Prefer a one-off? We still send a reminder when your tags approach expiry so nothing slips through.

Areas we service

Melbourne CBD and inner suburbs, Bayside including Brighton, Cheltenham, Mentone, Mordialloc, Frankston and Carrum Downs, and the southeast including Moorabbin, Braeside, Dandenong and Dingley.

Common questions

Common questions

How often does equipment need to be tested and tagged?
It depends on the environment: construction sites are the most frequent (typically three-monthly), factories and warehouses six to twelve-monthly, offices up to five-yearly for some equipment. We set the interval per item under AS/NZS 3760.

How much does test and tag cost?
Priced per item with a minimum per visit, with better rates for larger sites and recurring schedules. Send the site details for a quote.

Do you test three-phase equipment?
Yes, single and three-phase, including portable RCDs.

What happens to items that fail?
They are tagged out, listed in the report, and we advise whether they can be repaired or should be replaced.
