Emergency Electrician
No power, a switchboard that keeps tripping, a burning smell from a socket: call and you speak to the on-call electrician, not a call centre. 24 hours, 7 days, across Bayside, the southeast and the CBD.

What our clients say
What we do
Urgent faults, day or night. Complete loss of power, switchboard or circuit breaker faults, safety switches that will not reset, burnt-out wiring, sparking outlets, exposed cabling, and storm or flood damage to electrical gear.
Fault finding that ends the problem. We trace the fault rather than resetting the switch and leaving. Most faults are repaired on the first visit from a fully stocked van.
Making it safe first. Where a full repair needs parts or daylight, we isolate the hazard, get what can be restored back on, and book the follow-up before we leave.
Homes, rentals and businesses. Owners, tenants, property managers and shop or office managers all call the same number and get the same response.
Why customers call us
- You speak to the electrician. The number on this page goes to the on-call electrician, who tells you what to check and gives you a real arrival time.
- Local. Based in Carrum Downs, working across Bayside and the southeast every day, so we are not crossing the city to reach you.
- Stocked vans. Breakers, safety switches, cable, fittings and testing gear on board, so the fault gets fixed, not just diagnosed.
- Licensed and insured. REC 25761. Every repair is tested and, where required, certified.
- No drama. Clear communication, a tidy job and no upsell while you are stressed.
How it works
- Call. Tell us what happened and what you can see. If something is unsafe we tell you what to switch off straight away.
- Arrival. You get an arrival window on the phone and a message when we are on the way.
- Repair. Fault found, repaired and tested. If parts are needed, the site is made safe and the return visit booked on the spot.
Common emergencies
Power out in part of the house. Usually a tripped safety switch caused by one faulty appliance or circuit. We find which one.
Switchboard tripping or humming. Old ceramic fuses, overloaded circuits or a failing breaker. We repair it and tell you plainly if the board needs upgrading.
Burning smell or scorch marks. Turn the circuit off and call. This is the one to treat as urgent.
Hot water or oven not working. Often a dedicated circuit fault, fixed on the visit.
Areas we service
Bayside including Brighton, Sandringham, Hampton, Black Rock, Beaumaris, Cheltenham, Mentone, Parkdale, Mordialloc, Aspendale, Chelsea, Carrum, Frankston and Carrum Downs; the southeast including Moorabbin, Bentleigh, Oakleigh, Dandenong and Dingley; and the Melbourne CBD.
Common questions
Do you really answer after hours?
Yes. The number goes to the on-call electrician 24/7. After-hours work is charged at an after-hours rate, which we tell you before we come out.
How fast can you get here?
Depends on where you are and what is already booked. You get an honest arrival window on the call, not a promise we cannot keep.
What should I do while I wait?
If there is a burning smell, smoke or sparks, switch off the main switch at the switchboard. If it is a tripped safety switch, unplug appliances on that circuit and try resetting once. Do not touch damaged cables or wet electrical gear.
Can you fix it on the first visit?
Most faults, yes. The vans carry the common parts. Larger repairs or switchboard replacements are quoted on site and booked in.
