What our clients say
What we do
New CCTV installation. Cameras placed where they actually cover something: driveway, front door, side access, back yard, shopfront, warehouse floor. Cabled, not wireless, so the picture does not drop out. Recorder set up, remote viewing on your phone, and a walk-through before we leave.
Security camera repair and upgrades. Camera offline, recorder not recording, hard drive full, remote viewing stopped working after an internet change, blurry night footage. We diagnose it on site and fix it, or tell you straight if the system is not worth saving and what a replacement costs.
Adding to an existing system. Extra cameras, a bigger recorder, or replacing old analogue cameras with high definition on the same cable runs where the cabling is sound.
Commercial and strata CCTV. Offices, factories, car parks and apartment common areas, including takeovers of systems the original installer has walked away from.
Why customers use us for security cameras
- Licensed for the work. CCTV installation in Victoria requires a Private Security Business Licence, not just an electrical licence. We hold both (REC 25761 and Vic Police PSBL Z32-919-22S). Ask any installer for theirs.
- Electrical and security in one visit. Power points for recorders, new circuits, data cabling, cameras: one team, one invoice, no waiting on a second trade.
- Cabled systems that keep working. Wireless cameras are fine until the Wi-Fi drops. We run proper cable so the footage is there when you need it.
- Clear communication. You get a quote you can read, a booked time we turn up for, and a handover where you know how to use the system.
- Local. Based in Carrum Downs, working across Bayside, the southeastern suburbs and the CBD every day.
How it works
- Site visit and quote. We look at what you want covered, check the cabling routes and recommend a camera count and layout. Fixed-price quote, usually the same day.
- Installation. Typically one day for a home, longer for commercial. Cables concealed where possible, cameras aimed and tested at night as well as day.
- Handover. Remote viewing set up on your phones, recording checked, and we show you how to find and export footage.
Brands we install and repair
Hikvision, Dahua and Ubiquiti UniFi for new systems. We repair and service most other brands already on the wall, including Uniview, Swann and older analogue systems. If your system was installed by someone who no longer answers the phone, we can usually take it over.
Areas we service
Bayside Melbourne including Brighton, Sandringham, Hampton, Black Rock, Beaumaris, Cheltenham, Mentone, Parkdale, Mordialloc, Aspendale, Chelsea, Carrum, Frankston, Carrum Downs, Dandenong, Moorabbin, Bentleigh and the Melbourne CBD.
Common questions
How much does CCTV installation cost?
It depends on camera count, cable runs and whether a recorder already exists. We quote fixed price after a site visit, with no charge for the quote. Most homes are a 4 to 8 camera system.
Can I see the cameras on my phone?
Yes. Every system we install is set up for remote viewing on your phone or tablet before we leave, and we show you how it works.
Do you fix CCTV systems you did not install?
Yes. Most of our repair work is on systems installed by someone else.
Do you need a security licence to install CCTV?
In Victoria, yes. Installers must hold a Private Security Business Licence issued by Victoria Police. Ours is Z32-919-22S.
Will the cameras record at night?
All cameras we install have infrared or full-colour night vision. We test them after dark before handover.
